In a fast growing economy like India, the lack of sanitation and hygiene is a massive challenge that we are facing today. Nationwide awareness drives and government initiatives, particularly menstrual awareness and hygiene are a much talked about topic. In the past few months, the government’s responsibility towards the welfare of women’s hygiene and care is indeed spectacular. We can say, these changes will go far, but certainly not all the way unless there is a change in the attitude of the people.
